Your last year of elementary school will be a great one with new challenges that will prepare you for your amazing future! You will have a two teacher team: Ms. Hyde for English Language Arts (ELA) and Social Studies and Miss Lafferty for Math, Science, and Health.

- using close reading strategies to develop a deep understanding of what the author is communicating
- building new vocabulary
- correctly following the rules of grammar and spelling while developing writing skills
- critically analyzing text through class/small groups discussions and writing
In Social Studies, you will be involved with...
- Pennsylvania history, geography, and landmarks
- using maps to locate important places in Pennsylvania
