Meet the Teacher

Mrs. Rachel Grissom
Mrs. Grissom has been working at the Norwin School District since 2010. She began as a paraprofessional in the life skills and autism support classrooms and in 2013 began as the emotional support teacher for grades K-6. In 2016, she began working at Sheridan Terrace as the 3rd & 4th grade autism support teacher. Mrs. Grissom has her bachelor's degree from Edinboro University and her master's degree in special education and an advanced study certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders from California University. She is also certified in Applied Behavior Analysis from Penn State. 
 
Mrs. Grissom lives in the area with her husband, two kids, and fur babies. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, making art, gardening, swimming, and volunteering for Furkid Rescue.
