Welcome to Kindergarten at Sheridan Terrace

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to Kindergarten!!!  My name is Kristie Carozza Lynn.  I am a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.  (Go Pitt!)  I have a degree in elementary education and middle level math and science.

 I have taught first grade and kindergarten for fifteen years at Stewartsville, Hahntown, and Sheridan Terrace.  This year, I will be teaching morning and afternoon kindergarten at Sheridan Terrace.

My husband, Nick, teaches at Penn-Trafford high school. We have an almost 7 year old son, Jack Nicholas and a 1 year old daughter, Josie.  I spend time with my family, coach cheerleading, and plan for school in my free time.

My goal is to instill in your child a love for learning.  I will provide your child with the foundation to become a successful student throughout their educational career.

If you have a question or concern, the phone number here at school is 724-861-3025 and my extension is 6213.  This will take you straight to my voicemail during the school day.  I will get back to you as soon as possible on my preparation time or at the end of the day.  I also check my email several times a day. I will be sending you weekly newsletters, monthly calendars, and message via the Remind app. to keep you informed on what is taking place in our classroom.  These will be in your child’s folder every Friday. I am looking forward to seeing everyone again at Open House which will be held on September 21.

Sheridan Terrace is such a beautiful school for learning to take place. The staff and the students are unmatched. I will do all I can to make sure you and your children have a wonderful experience.  I cannot wait to begin working with your little ones.
