OTHER: Toys, Birthdays, Field Trips, Parties, Book Fair, etc...

Your child is permitted to bring in a toy to play with during recess. This should be something that easily fits in the backpack and would be good to play with if sitting at their desk during inside recess. We will not be sharing toys or getting them out at any other time as toys are a distraction to learning. 

 

Birthdays:

We will celebrate your child's birthday as close to their real birth date as possible. You are welcome to send in a birthday treat as long as it is in original packaging with the ingredients label. I will send a letter in the take home folder if your child has a Summer birthday explaining how we celebrate their HALF Birthday instead. 

 

I will let you know as soon as I know any details. Watch for my weekly Skyward Emails. Each Friday I will send the schedule for the following week so you will know when these events are planned and what you need to do. You will get advance notice of our field trip which is usually in May. Parties are going to be different this year, so you and I will discover how that is going to work together. As soon as I know anything I'll let you know!
