Norwin Community Clothing Drive will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 9 AM - 1 PM in the Sheridan Terrace Elementary School gym, please enter through door 12. If you have any questions, please contact Alexis Janiga, at [email protected] or Kristie Lynn, at [email protected]
We hope you will find the time to stop at Sheridan Terrace and pick up some items that your family may need.

Sheridan Terrace will be celebrating red ribbon week with a week of themed days. Red ribbon week will run from Monday, October 28th through Friday, November 1st. A list of the themed days are listed below (Please remember participation is optional.)

Monday - "We are "RED"y to say no to drugs" - Wear red (Students will receive a red ribbon that they are encouraged to wear for the week)

Tuesday - "Use your "head" don't do drugs" - Wear something on your head, a hat, bow, headbands, etc.

Wednesday - "Team Up Against Drugs" - Wear your favorite sports team jersey/shirt.

Thursday - "Say Boo to Drugs" - Wear a Halloween shirt

Friday - "Put drugs to sleep" - Wear your favorite pajamas.

We will be honoring Veteran's on Monday, November 11th at 9:45 AM. The Veteran's will be treated to breakfast, compliments of the Sheridan Terrace PTA, which will begin at 8:45 AM in the Community Room.
Reservations should be in by Monday, October 31. We will wear red, white, and blue this day. If you have a Veteran that you would like to honor, even if they cannot make the program, please click on the headline to compete the form to register them or to have them honored. Due to seating, the program is only open to staff, students, Veterans, and one guest. Please contact the Sheridan Terrace main office if you have any questions, 724-861-3025.

Lifetouch Photography will be here on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, for school picture make up day or retakes. If you need an order form, please have your child stop in the office to pick one up. If you have any questions regarding ordering and retakes, please contact Lifetouch Photography

Monday, September 23 - Beach Day
Tuesday, September 24 - Wear your favorite college or Norwin shirt.
Wednesday, September 25 - We wear pink on Wednesday
Thursday, September 26 - Flannel Thursday
Friday, September 27 - Norwin blue and gold Friday (2 hour early dismissal day)
Friday, September 27th is the homecoming football game, Norwin vs. North Hills, the game will begin at 7 PM at Knights Stadium. The homecoming carnival will be held on Friday, September 27th at the high school from 3:30-6:30 PM. The annual Norwin Student Council homecoming parade will be held on Saturday, September 28th in downtown Irwin at 10 AM.

Each year we say thank you to our wonderful custodians, Mr. Selia, Mr. JJ, Mr. Shane, and Mr. Dylan for all they do during the school day. Please be sure to wear jeans and a white t-shirt in honor of Gibby Day. A big thank you to all of our custodians.

The Sheridan Terrace PTA will be hosting a hayride at Lash's Farm. The cost is $9.00 per person for the hayride, corn maze, and a pumpkin.

Open House will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 6-8 PM. We look forward to seeing all the students and families this evening. This is a great evening to meet your child(ren)'s teacher and classmates.
The PTA will be hosting a bake sale in the cafeteria, PTA Book Fair will be held in the gym, there will be wish lists for the teachers, and give families the opportunity to shop. PTA will also have a membership and spirit wear table available.
Mrs. DeStefano, Cafeteria Mgr. will be available that evening to add money to student lunch accounts or to answer any questions you may have.
