Sheridan Terrace STEM Squires 24-25

Kindergarten Celebration 2025 - 5th Annual Kinder-Grammies - Monday, May 19

We will be celebrating our Kdg. students on Monday, May 19, there will be two shows. Rooms 12 (Mrs. Mochar) and 13 AM (Mrs. Lynn) will have their celebration at 9:45 AM. Family members should enter through door 1, doors will open at 9:30 AM. Rooms 11 (Mrs. Hornick) and 13 PM (Mrs. Lynn) will have their celebration at 1:45 PM, door 1 will open at 1:30 PM. There will be cookies and drinks served after the show.

Transition Night at Sheridan Terrace - May 1, 2025 6-7:30 PM

We are pleased to invite you to one of our most popular annual events - Transition Night: Making a Smooth Move to the Next Grade. This event provides you with the opportunity to meet with classroom teachers to learn more about what the next school year will look like for your child. Year after year, families have expressed how beneficial this event has been in helping them understand the expectations for their child as they move to the next grade level.

This year the event will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 6:00PM-7:30PM at Sheridan Terrace Elementary School. This is for adults only and there will be no childcare available. Please reach out to the Sheridan Terrace main office for more information. The deadline to register is Friday, April 25, 2025.

2-hour early dismissal - March 18, 2025

There will be a 2-hour early dismissal on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Elementary students will be dismissed at 1:30 PM.

AM Kdg. hours are 9-10:55 AM
PM Kdg. hours are 11:35 AM-1:30 PM

Read Across America Week
In honor of Dr. Suess birthday on March 2nd, we will be celebrating Read Across America Week the week of March 3rd. See the schedule listed below for the fun we have planned. All the activities are sure to be grand!

PLEASE NOTE: Participation is always optional

Monday, March 3rd - Green Eggs and Ham Day - Wear Green

Tuesday, March 4th - "Top Hat Tuesday - Wear something silly on your head. "Wear a crazy hat the cat said"

Wednesday, March 5th - "Wacky Wednesday" - Wear your polka dot and leopard, match plaids with stripes, or wear checkers with fuzz, but whatever you wear, just mix it up!

Thursday, March 6th - "Oh the Places You'll Go"
Wear a t-shirt/sweatshirt from a favorite place that you have visited.

Friday, March 7th - "Snoozy Friday" - Some days it is hard to get out of bed. No need to get dressed, wear your PJs instead!

Open House - Thursday, September 19, 2024 6-8 PM

Open House will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 6-8 PM. We look forward to seeing all the students and families this evening. This is a great evening to meet your child(ren)'s teacher and classmates.
The PTA will be hosting a bake sale in the cafeteria, PTA Book Fair will be held in the gym, there will be wish lists for the teachers, and give families the opportunity to shop. PTA will also have a membership and spirit wear table available.
Mrs. DeStefano, Cafeteria Mgr. will be available that evening to add money to student lunch accounts or to answer any questions you may have.
We hope to see you all at Open House.
