Reading Improvement Program 2022-2023 Parent Survey Results:
Parent Survey Results: Each spring, the Sheridan Terrace Reading Improvement Program surveys parents to gain valuable information about how we can continue to strengthen our services for students and parents. Here is a snapshot of what we learned:
- 94.8% of families stated that the small group work their child received in the program was the most beneficial to their academic growth.
- 96.2% of families used the strategies, resources, materials, and tips provided by the reading specialists.
- Overall reading support, fluency, and comprehension support ranked the highest for topics of upcoming workshops for Parent and Family Engagement Meetings.
Schoolwide Title I Goals:
Measurable Goal 1:
The anchors for Key Ideas and Details in literature and informational text will be studied in order to design instruction that engages students.
Measurable Goal 2:
We will monitor and evaluate the impact of professional learning on staff practices and student learning with particular focus on the iReady professional development being provided this school year.
